The Ranger series are complete studio systems in a suitcase which can be operated with the equipment in the case. They are carefully constructed with the equipment well integrated and pre-configured so it can be used immediately on arrival. The studio systems are complete but additional equipment is available to extend the capabilities of the system. They are ideally suited for disaster relief, emergency broadcasting, training, start-up studios and radio stations, and as a temporary studio to to replace stolen or damaged equipment. The Ranger's predecessor has been used in all of these roles in many countries and climates. It is built into a standard suitcase and is designed not to draw attention to itself when travelling. It is rugged and easy to use. 
Two versions will be available in 2010: Ranger 4is an entry level studio suitcase using a commercial mixer. It is most suitable for programme production and recording. AC powered but a 12V DC option is available.Ranger 5A fully professional suitcase using a custom designed broadcast mixer with exceptional facilities and performance available towards the end of 2010. The case can be powered from AC, DC or internal battery with seamless switching between power sources. The mixer offers excellent facilities and easy of use for self-operation with un-rivalled input headroom, input and and output limiters, automatic voice-over, and a wide range of analogue and digital interfaces for easy interface to almost any professional or consumer equipment.About Us
Randall Concepts Ltd. exists to provide solutions for community radio and portable studio equipment. We offer the Ranger series of portable studio suitcases that have many applications in community radio, disaster response, start-up stations and for training. We can also supply a wide range of ancilliary equipment.
The Ranger studios suitcases are developed from the succesful Chrysolite originally designed and built by Feba Radio. More than 30 were built, most went overseas mainly into developing countries. Feba no longer makes these and we have acquired teh rights to the design which we are deveoping further. We are currently offering the Ranger 4 and other equipment needed by small radio stations and programme producers. Managing director, Charles Randall, has over 30 years experience in broadcast engineering and was the originator of the concept for these studio suitcases.
